Laboratory Services

Our fully operational laboratory's primary goal is meeting the needs of the community for all their testing needs. We specialize in diagnosing problematic well water to residences in our area and assisting them with viable treatment solutions. We offer a wide range of testing from bacteriolgical, radiological, mineral, heavy metal, and pesticide analysis. We have grown to serve the needs of various municipalities around northern California in their monitoring requirements of both drinking and waste water, while ensuring serving our community remains our number one priority.

Bacteria (120mL sterile bottle)

  • Total Coliform & E. Coli for drinking water - $55
    • These bacteria are indicators or microbial contamination
  • Total Coliform & E. Coli for irrigation, recreation, or surface water - $65
  • Iron Related Bacteria & Sulfate Reducing Bacteria - $70
    • These bacteria cause red staining, rotten egg odors, and oily sheens in water
General Minerals – pH, Total Dissolved Solids, Iron, Manganese, Total Hardness - $70 (500 mL)

VA and FHA Loans

  • The VA & FHA do not set testing standards, rather they defer to state and local public health authorities. Since local public health authorities in Placer and neighboring counties do not set standards for private real estate transactions, it falls to lending companies to set testing standards. The commonly requested tests for VA and FHA Loans are
    • Total Coliform & E. Coli
    • Nitrate
    • Lead
